I sit amongst the trappings

Of the camping trip of a lifetime

The one that changed everything for me

And my beloved gratefully at my side.

There are more details upon which I can focus

As I awaken from a dozen hours of restorative sleep

The proof is in the calmness:

NO SEIZURES FOR TWO RECENT NIGHTS!

Join me in praise, in celebration

That our risk and prayers were fruitful

The healing of six years of strife has begun

And we are praising the Lord for same.
